about

Keel Row is the first melody from an ancient bridal song, associated with the South East of Scotland, and Northumbria. The second tune is a Breton Mazurka, which was collected by Galician musician Pablo Quntana.
The bagpipe used here is a Scottish smallpipes (with bellows), fitted with an English double-pipe chanter, made by prominent pipe-maker Julian Goodacre, who also plays on this track. Julian alkso made the border horns.
